About the farm
Situated within the
beautiful and picturesque Churnet valley near Leek in rural
Staffordshire overlooking the Derbyshire Dales, the farm
comprises nearly
50 acres of grazing, wetland nature reserve and woodland.
Both the Caldon Canal and
the Churnet River run through the farm making it a haven
for wild life. It is ideally placed being secluded yet only
a few minutes drive from the busy market town of Leek.
The farm comprises secure grazing for horses and modern
well equipped moorings for canal narrowboats.
There are many attractions in
the area and many places of interest can be reached from
the canal side walks. The Derbyshire dales are
the scenic back drop to the farm.
Several traditional and canal side public
houses serving excellent but reasonably priced meals
are within a few minutes walking of the farm.
